One of my favorite astrologers shared this poetic post and I am paying it forward. One could read this as a dedication to another being, but I took it has a declaration to myself. “Poetically speaking ‘YOU’ are always the reason.” Take a loving lQQk inside your heart-mind and say; I wear my heart with dignity and grace.

I want you to know me

Deeper than anyone has ever known me

Deeper than I even know myself

Deeper than the body, deeper than the mind

I want to open the doors to my inner life

Without defenses, without pretenses,

And invite you in

Abandoning any feeling of shame I might feel

in revealing myself

I want you to look fearlessly

In the darkness of my heart

And tell me if you can find any light

So that I will see the depths of my own soul

Reflected into your eyes

And know me wholly

I want you to touch my deepest wounds

The ones that undetected rule my life

Distracting me from the path I wish to walk

So that you can share the reality of my experience

And transform it with me

Into a renewed perception of life

And I want to make myself wholly vulnerable

Allowing love to fulfill its beautiful task

Both within me and within yourself

Trusting you deeper than I have ever trusted

So that you feel able to trust as well

Journeying together towards a place of fullness

Each separate, both complete

To grasp the core of our human experience

Safe within each other’s holding

And safe within ourselves
