“One day I woke up to myself”
Day Fourteen of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Healing
I invite you to think about what it is in your life that you would like to heal; a relationship, something you have been struggling with and you have no answers. Or just to continue to feel good. Even when we are feeling great we must appreciate that and acknowledge that we feel whole and good. Therefore, taking a moment or two to say, “Thank You” contributes to your healings.
When the body feels good, we feel joy; we treat ourselves and others with respect, kindness and we feel enlivened. All things are possible when we feel good. That is the journey in life, to find our healing balance in all areas of our lives.
How we feel about ourselves contributes to our overall healings. By changing the way, we believe we change the energy field of our body. Thoughts flow as the wind blows, and the dust settles. Be mindful of your thoughts.
Ways to heal what weighs you down. Practice mindfulness, enjoy the present moment when you eat taste and appreciate how your foods nourish and heal you.
When you are engaging in conversation, or listening to music BE present to what is being said without thinking ahead.
Pay attention to your breathing, most of us don’t because it is automatic, hone in on your breath and see what a difference it makes throughout your body.
Grab a piece of paper, journal, something to write on and write it out, the power of the pen is amazing.
Get plenty of rest; the dishes can wait.
GO OUTSIDE and touch the earth with your feet or your entire body, lay down in the grass, look up at the magical Universe and invite a healing into your body, mind, and soul. Dolby Dharma
Today’s Affirmation: I listen to the whispers of my body, and I take action.
Healing… is an active and internal process that includes investigating one’s attitudes, memories, and beliefs with the desire to release all negative patterns that prevent one’s full emotional and spiritual recovery. This internal review inevitably leads one to examine one’s external circumstances in an effort to recreate one’s life in a way that serves activation of will – the will to see and accept truths about one’s life and how one has used one’s energies; and the will to begin to use energy for the creation of love, self-esteem, and health.~Caroline Myss
