Mothering Myself…
Each and every one of us at some time in our lives has tended to a family member, friend, stranger, animal, child, and a garden. Most of us here living on Mother Earth has nurtured something or someone; we are all Mothers.
Our mission in life, should we choose to accept it; is to heal, respect, honor, give, receive and help other’s including ourselves grow to be the finest human being they possibly could be with the infusion of kindness, encouragement, and unwavering love. Mothering ourselves is a genuine pursuit of life, liberty, and one’s own happiness.
We can mother ourselves.
No matter the degree of emptiness we feel, we can be filled.
No matter the lack of response we get, we can answer.
No matter the extent of brokenness we see, we can build.
No matter the weight of the burden we carry, we can move forward.
No matter the level of condemnation we face, we can rise above.
No matter what we did not receive, we can still provide.

“Accept yourself. Love yourself as you are. Your finest work, your best movements, your joy, peace, and healing comes when you love yourself. You give a great gift to the world when you do that. You give others permission to do the same: to love themselves. Revel in self-love. Roll in it. Bask in it as you would the sunshine.” ~ Melodie Beattie.
