Notice—Don’t resist!

The mind is a song. It has its own rhythm, lyric and beat, the one you make up, and sometimes a song shows up, and you are like WTF I did not tune into this—but you did. 😱

EVERYTHING is made up in our mind, we choose some thoughts, and others choose us. No matter the form or external circumstances. We are bundled up in energy, twisting and turning, tuning into frequencies all day and night. Therefore, we, the thinker, apply meaning to our lives as a result of what we tell ourselves. We also try to find meaning to the dreams we have in the sleeping state.

Our minds are currently; IMPRISONED with INACCURATE, UNHELPFUL programming, and conditioning that runs us like robots from which we need to be liberated from.

The only way towards liberation is through awareness that we do have control over what we decide to do with the stories we tell ourselves by asking inquiring questions when we notice a thought that displeases. When we seperate the witness from the witness we are left in awareness, therefore when the activity of thinking thoughts comes to an end we are back in awareness. I know a real mindfuck.

Out of my mind into bliss.

The idea is to wake-up from the dream you created, and NOTICE your thoughts; You might say to yourself, Does this thought please me?

If you answered, No? Then ask yourself, what thoughts would bring me closer to my true nature? If we can free ourselves from the external chatter and tap into source ( even if it is only for a moment), and remembering our true, divine nature by using our reality to awaken to our endless capacity for creation-knowing there is more beyond this reality we have dreamt up.

Not only is the source here within us, but it’s also flowing right now as the simple awareness that is reading these words.

It is a practice to ‘NOTICE’ our thoughts to bring the self into awareness and understand why we feel the way we do–we feel and think things all day long. Thank god, what would we do here on earth without our thoughts. 🤔🤔

BUT…

Our thoughts can constrict us or expand us–The mind is a powerful trickster, and the only way to understand or get a slight handle on our thoughts is to ‘NOTICE’ them first, DO NOT push them aside, or resist them or believe they are authentic. Slow the mind’s roll and adjust your thinking accordingly how you would like to feel. It is that simple, but us humans want to build stories, we invite drama, we like to feel right, we just fucking love all kinds of shit—and why not.

The whole point here is; if your thoughts are not bringing you peace, harmony, why would you want to believe in them? Therefore, if we change up the thoughts that our minds put there in the first place, that shift in thinking might bring a sigh of relief, so that we can rest more in the river of life, see more magic in the mundane, and open to the love that waits at the gates of our hearts.

“Don’t look for peace.

Don’t look for any other state than the one you are in now; otherwise, you will set up inner conflict and unconscious resistance.

Forgive yourself for not being peace.

The moment you completely accept your non-peace, your non-peace becomes transmuted into peace.

Anything you accept fully will get you there will take you into peace.

This is the miracle of surrender.”

― Eckhart Tolle

Don’t rush to change; just notice. Awareness is slow, baby, but when it happens, it feels so pleasing, freeing and liberating, because the mind shifts into its natural resting place of being—A peaceful equanimity– the root for wisdom and freedom, and the guardian of compassion, peace, and love.

And then, when the activity of thinking comes to an end you will know, it’s all awareness, you feel the expansive, like a balmy full moon, you naturally emanate that energy out to the world.

What a gift that is to wake yourself up and extend that presence to others 🥰Lilith.

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put, I know nothing and everything.

  1. A very powerful post. I will spend more time on noticing all my thoughts, I like the “miracle of surrender.” I will begin to use that more. Thank you for your insightful and inspirational post. Take care.
