Lani Hall is one of my favorite artists. I was introduced to Lani Halls Sundown Lady vinyl back in 1972 and was addicted to her angelic voice, the way she expresses the songs and the lyrics. Rare to come across an album that I loved each song fully.

This particular song is about a traditional relationship moving on. When I first heard it back in seventy-two, I thought about the love I have or lack thereof for myself.

We are always evolving, leaving ourselves seeking this Divine love outside of ourselves, but the truth is; the love we must burn is the flame within our own hearts before we can sustain the ever-changing desires in our lives; The lives that encompass, people, places, and things.
