Karmic Cycle

Sometimes it feels as if we are hampsters in a cage going round and round, same shit different day.  We get frustrated, angry and out of sorts when things are not going our way. Life feeds on our thoughts and actions. We get stuck in repeated patterns in our lives.  There is no escape for any of us, so it seems.

The way to deal on the wheel is to understand what Karma is. It’s pretty simple; Cause and effect, Karma is action, whether physical or mental, and each action has a consequence. ‘BAM’

It’s a pay as you go cycle.

If we can just let that idea settle in and understand that karma is up to us, the day to day can be handled, nothing is permanent, and this too shall pass. LIfe is cyclical and groundhog day is real.

Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together, and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.~ Pema Chodron

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put, I know nothing and everything.

  1. So very true . . . sometimes it’s hard to see that our reactions are so much a part of why things keep playing out the same way, over and over again. . . patterns are part of that cycle that continues to bring us the same results that don’t work. . . we are creatures that love familiarity, even when we know those habits are not always good for us, when in fact they hold us back. . . We are only cheating ourselves of the wonderous things life has to offer us. . . Thank you for your insight and wisdom, and the reminder of what we all must do . . . put out that which we want to come back to us. . .
