“In–to–me–I–see“
Intimacy=In-to-me-I-see
It is, the authentic you, the “you” that only you can know. The love affair with yourself.
So many of us do not know ourselves on such an intimate level, we tend to live on the surface and think intimacy is something you get when you get close to another person through connection, long term relationships or sex.
It is anything but that.
Closeness teaches us about our interactions with another person as we do the day to day stuff, and in exchange, hopefully, we develop an intimacy for ourselves through this connection by being real with the intimate energy within our bodies that speaks to us all the time when we are in relationships.
It takes courage and confidence to examine continually, to look within and make our love for ourselves a priority first and foremost.
We’re more than we appear to be on the outside. As Marianne Williamson said, “The purpose of our lives is to give birth to the best which is within us.”
