ANTI-RESOLUTIONS
Every January 1, many people make New Year’s resolutions, promising to embark on programs of self-improvement. But your assignment now, should you choose to accept it, is to create a list of ANTI-resolutions.

Here are some questions to guide you:

 

1. What outlandish urges and controversial tendencies do you promise to cultivate in the coming months?

 

2. What nagging irritations will you ignore and avoid with even greater ingenuity?

 

3. What problems do you promise to exploit in order to have even more fun as you make the status quo accountable for its corruption?

 

4. What boring rules and traditions will you thumb your nose at, paving the way for exciting encounters with strange attractors?
And on an enlightened note; Let’s let the lets in…

 

Let this year be an opportunity to begin fresh and to allow our unique selves to wake up to ourselves, for ourselves, which will benefit all beings.

 

Let go of everything that we think we know so that we can expand our awareness and step-up into the undiscovered unknowns that are yet on the horizon.

 

Let all resistance melt into a sweet surrender and may surrender be the quality that moves us inward and forward, breath by breath, mantra by mantra.

 

Let this moment together, wherever we are in the world and in our lives, be generous, kind and filled with grace.

 

Let us show up in peace and leave peace in our wake and think peace with open-minded desires.

 

Let the love within our hearts touches the light within every soul, in the understanding that we are whole in the light of our ultimate Truth.

 

Can I get an Amen that 2019 will be a year of radiance and grace for you, and for us all?
