Some relationships teach resilience.
Some teach betrayal and forgiveness.
Others arrive with loss and grief on a silver platter.
Still, others offer up deep ecstasy, joy, ease, and happiness.
But the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.
We all have something in common; we interact with people. Some are pretty easy to engage with while others give us a run for our money; and it is all contingent upon us, the decisions we make, the reactions we display. Like the stock market, it is unpredictable.
People are investments, as cold as it sounds; some bring great returns while others take away. But the best investment is with ourselves. So when we are not getting the return we had hoped for we can reinvest elsewhere because of the foundation we invested in ourselves.
Make yourself a priority each day, you are a worthy investment.
“There is no more profitable investment than investing in yourself. It is the best investment you can make; you can never go wrong with it. It is the true way to improve yourself to be the best version of you and lets you be able to best serve those around you.” ―
