Healing the UNinvited thoughts
EVERYTHING that brings us peace or fear is made up in our minds.
We are our thoughts. No matter what is going on outside of us, be it an illness, abuse, a happy day, etc., it is up to us how we choose the experience.
We apply meaning to our lives by the stories we tell and believe about ourselves.
Where do we get those stories? We get them from our experiences in life, family, friends, etc., which have contributed to our minds’ downloads.
It is up to you to decide what you want, and by that, I mean to ‘notice’ what story you are telling yourself.
It is only an issue if you make it an issue.
Nobody can take anything from you unless you give it to them.
The idea of reinforcing our lives with our habitual worries, wrapped in guilt, shame, and fear, is what distracts us and takes us away from the very things we want–PEACE.
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you envision those thoughts, we can get caught up in stories, which takes us away from peace and our true nature, divine love.
NOTICE where your mind goes.
Everything you believe about yourself is true for you.
We can only meet ourselves and the world in the mindset we believe ourselves to be.
Beliefs are not who you are on a much deeper level of evolution.
If you want to be, understand, do, have anything…TEACH IT.
You are the teacher—and you are the student. Create your curriculum.
You are the world you live in–Notice what world you are creating.
You are the dreamer–dream up the life you want.
You are the stories you believe in–believe in yourself.
You want a different outcome, script, etc.; Change the mind that put those stories and beliefs there In the first place.
Self-care tips regarding thoughts.
Describe the Thought: For most of us, just describing what’s happening inside our minds is such a relief; you can’t heal it if you can’t name it –our thoughts are all over the place, and it is not indicative of who we are or that something is wrong, it is just an error in our thinking that can be corrected when we come into our right mind thinking to heal whatever it is we believe is a problem.
Sit with the thought that creates a feeling: I like to invite the thoughts to tea, get to know them, all thoughts are rooted in our human experience, nothing more.
Once we understand it is only a thought that can be changed, we can breathe a sigh of relief.
With that relief comes liberation and freedom from the thoughts that are not always true, but just a thought that we apply meaning to.
Remember; Your Thoughts lead to your Feelings, which lead to your unconscious actions, which lead to your outcomes. After proving yourself right over and over again, your thoughts become beliefs.
Beliefs then become automatic thoughts that drive your behaviors, and these thoughts and beliefs become your habits.
Hence, we can only meet ourselves in the mindset we believe ourselves to be, and that includes our world, the people in our lives, and the day-to-day that shows up!
