Life says we are supposed to have our shit together…we tell ourselves we need to get our shit together. We are supposed to know what we want, what we’re doing and where we are going. We are supposed to hide the insane parts of our disowned self if we’re going to be ‘accepted’…Accepted by who?
The truth is just when you think you have all your duckies lined up, and things are good, your ‘towin’ the line…
Shit…
Happens…
The struggle is real…
What is ‘together’ anyway? How about, we’re all in this together… Makes sense…
Madness is a part of a whole life; I’m talking about intuitive hits, crazy good creativity, improvisation, and letting it all hangout. Breaking with what is presumed and the expected. Knowing life vacillates between chaos and cosmic Divinity. Madness isn’t food, the substance of life, but it gives life flavor and makes it complete. It highlights the taste of life and all its nuances. It is the untapped resources within the mind we keep under wraps.
Madness gets a bad wrap. We just can’t control everything about us and why would we want to? After all, some to the best expressions of us come out of chaos and being out of our minds temporarily. That temporary insanity, madness, chaos call it what you will is when the Divine download enters and the ‘AHA’ begins.
Let go of the illusion of being “in control” as you embrace yourself, let the disowned parts of yourself have a say with movements modest, meticulous, adaptable, compassionate, and consideration of the whole, you will achieve greatness unfettered by guilt or doubt and shame.
In LaK’esh; I am another you, and as Bobby Klien says, “I LIKE IT LIKE THAT.”
“Be silent and listen: have you recognized your madness and do you admit it? Have you noticed that all your foundations are completely mired in madness? Do you not want to recognize your madness and welcome it in a friendly manner? You wanted to accept everything. So accept madness too. Let the light of your madness shine, and it will suddenly dawn on you. Madness is not to be despised and not to be feared, but instead, you should give it life…If you want to find paths, you should also not spurn madness, since it makes up such a great part of your nature…Be glad that you can recognize it, for you will thus avoid becoming its victim. Madness is a special form of the spirit and clings to all teachings and philosophies, but even more to daily life, since life itself is full of craziness and at bottom utterly illogical. Man strives toward reason only so that he can make rules for himself. Life itself has no rules. That is its mystery and its unknown law. What you call knowledge is an attempt to impose something comprehensible on life.” Carl Jung
