Just the way you are!
Self-Acceptance is one of the top dog qualities to own within: it has More Substance than Self-Esteem.
Why you might be wondering? Self-Acceptance is crucial, sometimes things don’t go our way, sometimes we don’t feel just right… And to be able to accept that moment is critical to how we honor and bring kindness to ourselves. If we practice acceptance it begins to shapes the feelings we have towards ourselves and others and self-acceptance becomes the norm.
When we allow ourselves to be as we are, we put ourselves in a better position to begin improving ourselves for life.
We all know life will not always show up for us the way plan it or believe it should or needs be.
It is not claiming, “This is what I am.
It is saying; I accept myself ‘as’ I am at this moment.
It says; I accept my character, and what is, right now.
It is not saying; I can do nothing about it. It says; I AM empowered to make the necessary adjustments accordingly because I accept life and myself at this moment as it is being presented.
Knowing ourselves is our ticket to ride the roller coaster of life; it affords us the possibility to see what we can do to improve ourselves and our lives.
The next time you can’t or won’t accept yourself in a moment of the opposite of an expectation, opinion or just a bad day. Replace that old habit of disappointment and say to yourself or out loud.

“Self-acceptance is my refusal to be in an adversarial relationship with myself.” ~Nathaniel Branden
