Shedding our skin!

Imposters on the outside! Truth and Beauty on the inside!

It’s Halloween every day here on planet earth. Each day we gather ourselves up, and unknowing or knowingly put on our masks our costumes and go out and greet the world. We don’t do this consciously all the time, but we do have an idea of how we want to be seen when we are out in the world.  These storytelling Masks keep ourselves “safe”… so we think, and prevent others from experiencing what we are afraid to show for fear of judgment(s) and appearing alike. But the undisputed truth we are, each other. Like it or not. We just haven’t figured that out yet ourselves.  ” In Lakech Ala K’in ” which means I am another you!

What it all adds up/boils down to; in the end, WE ARE ALL THE SAME. I know the idea of this sucks, to think you are like maybe one of the worst people you know, but we are.

We just present differently.

But do we really present that differently? As the poet, E. E. Cummings wrote, “The greatest battle, we face as human beings are the battle to protect our true selves from the self the world wants us to become.”

We are all busy trying to be different, stand out, but deep down at the core of our being we are one, whole, alike and there is no escaping that reality. But the mind is mighty, and we create whatever we want to express to the outside; but the showdown, the transition time, and, life will reveal it differently.

Maybe we are fooling ourselves with all this pretense, protection, and projections, wasting time with masking the wholeness that we are.

One of our greatest fears is that if we show our deepest selves, the world will say, “Oh, it’s just you.” But being just you is one of the greatest and most mastered human being you could ever be. As Oscar Wilde said, “Be yourself; everyone else is taken.” Or if you are open to the spiritual perspective, the psalmist wrote, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Love the skin your in, allow the core of you to shine.

“The journey into awakening and the journey into self-love are no different. We need to awaken, to actualize our potential, to open the space within, to meet our inner being. Why? Because we have a love for who we are. By falling in love with our inner self, we allow our soul to awaken so that as we become one with our existence, that love can finally become complete.” Anadi Teaching

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put, I know nothing and everything.
