Without the breath, well, let’s not go there today. Just for today if all we do is surrender to our breath that is a significant accomplishment. Because breathing is automatic, we don’t’ give it much attention unless instructed or fighting for it.
Instead of giving everything else in our lives attention, just for today, let’s breathe in gratitude for our breath. Bring the mind back to the breath. It’s a practice when we acknowledge the importance of how we breathe, it keeps us present to ourselves.
Breathing is a recalibration of the body-mind. Sometimes we have to do nothing for anyone other than ourselves, and that means to just breath.
Breathing allows us to focus on what matters. Breathing helps us cultivate an inner stillness that allows us to reset, refuel, restore, and remember what is essential; YOU.
Breathing is a full-time meditation that we don’t have to work at; we have to be mindful of our deserving selves.
Surrendering to the breath releases us from the constraints of life. The only thing that matters each moment is that we keep breathing.
“Don’t try to change anything at all, just breathe and let go. Breathe and let be… in your mind and your heart, give yourself permission to allow this moment to be exactly as it is, and allow yourself to be exactly as you are.” ~Jon Kabat-Zinn
