“Love to Hate me and Hate to love me”

I was talking with a friend today about how people can turn on a dime with their feelings regarding a person(s) they love. You can go from laughing in one breathe, to complete anger and hate. The result; SEPARATION in which all parties retreat to their perspective corners in their lives and choose, or not choose, do not speak, for various reasons, all of which have NOTHING to do with the present argument. We just manage to trip up old unhealed wounds.

It is pretty amazing how we can go from loving someone to downright hatin on them. Flippin, a bitch, seems rather easy in the area of our emotions. Love comes rooted in fertile ground for the emergence of hate, anger, and frustrations; I personally don’t ‘hate’ anyone, but it is a word that gets thrown out there just as much as the “Love Bomb.”

When the intensity, and intimacy of that higher vibe love go south, the opposite emotion quickly enters; the ugly hate is lurking on the horizon waiting to take over.

That thin line will send us downhill, again and again, it is what helps us heal believe it or not. Opposites attract as much as they repeal, how else will we know our truth.

We hardly ever see the emotional charge coming. Intense love can seem so lasting, and, forever, that it’s almost incoherent when we experience how quickly it can turn into conflicting feelings such as hate, aggression, rant, and separation.

What it all boils down to is; CONFUSION…It helps us detach and takes us out of commission, which at that moment can be a good thing as it helps us gather ourselves up to regroup. It is a golden moment in time to go within and find out why we became unhinged.

Confusion halts the action creates separation and protects us.

Either way; Love me or hate me, I am still ME, and I am YOU; In Lak’ech I am another YOU.

Look into the past
And examine what has
Led to this period of dissolution.
Liberate negative emotions by acknowledging them.
Having compassion for yourself and changing your thoughts does the repair. BobbyK

Could you understand the meaning of light if there were no darkness to point the contrast? Day and night, life and death, love and hatred; since none of these things can have any being at all apart from the existence of the other; only the indolence of human nature finds it so hard to pierce through to the other side. – Elizabeth Goudge

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put, I know nothing and everything.

  1. There is a price to pay when you stand in YOUR truth. People are not always going to like it because it challenges their own sense of self, as well as their truth about who they really are. As I travel my journey, I am not concerned with the dynamic of how others choose to feel or think about me, that is none of my concern. If everyone loved the shit out of me, then I am doing something wrong. When you are hatin on me, I am indeed stirring the depths of their own stew. That is a good thing.

  2. Well said. . . I surround you with only love and gratitude, and feel sorry for those that perceive you to be something you’re not. . . they have lost themselves in their own discolored version of the truth. . .they cannot see their mirrored reflection and only deflect their inner issues onto others, because they choose not to work on themselves and heal the child within. . .
