I stand in the truth of myself.

When I say; “I stand in the truth of myself,” I am pointing out the whole ideal package here. I am not talking about the outer appearances of us, although that is a small part that creates how we feel about ourselves, to some the physical is the whole package of who they are because of how they appear. How could it not be in today’s ‘IN YOUR FACE’ social media(s) telling us how we can feel better, look better, ‘as if,’ they have the truth on ‘looking and feeling good.’ No wonder so many people feel shitty about themselves. The skin of us is just the container that holds the truth, and the spirit of us within, and that truth is a purity unbeknown to us right now. Even if we don’t think we are working on digging deep within…we always are…Each time we get stung from something outside of us that is the work, we just have to notice what is stinging us and inquire as to why.

It is hard not to be infected and affected by exterior circumstances for sure, but what is most difficult is what we believe and tell ourselves on the daily about those injections.

People…This is a test of the highest vibration; to stay intact with ourselves regardless of what is vibing all around us.

Being comfortable in our skin doesn’t mean you have to stay complacent with ourselves. It doesn’t mean letting ourselves go or never needing to make adjustments in areas of our life. It doesn’t mean being narcissistic, arrogant, or boastful. It means ‘NOTICING,’ with curiosity, and making changes as WE see fit.

What it does mean is having confidence in ourselves and to sustain a healthy sense of self that knows when to shapeshift as needed because WE decide what isn’t working, WE choose whether to believe ‘it’ or not; that is the Ticket To The Truth.

When we feel better about ourselves, we look better to ourselves, and we act accordingly in our day-to-day behaviors. When we feel confident in who we are, it will show through our actions, personal demeanor, and interaction with others. How could it not, the only mirror you will see is YOUR own truth about who you are. We are not lost, we are learning to live from the inside out, and that will come when you recognize your true nature. Whatever our beliefs are, I believe that life boils down to Divine Love!

You are never lost, there is nothing to find you are already ideally housed in your decorative container, just look in the mirror.

 I love this poem:

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
and the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
and see what that man has to say

For it isn’t your father or mother or wife
who judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts the most in your life
is the one staring back from the glass

Some people may think you a straight-shooting chum
and call you a wonderful guy
But the guy in the glass says you’re only a bum
if you can’t look him straight in the eye

He’s the fellow to please never mind all the rest
for he’s with you clear up to the end
And you’ve passed your most dangerous difficult test
if the man in the glass is your friend

You may fool the whole world down the pathway
of life and get pats on the back as a pass
But your final reward will be heartaches and
tears if you’ve cheated the man in the glass.

The Guy in the GlassPoem Analysis. Dale Wimbrow uses simple words and structure in his poem The Guy in the Glass, but it conveys a profound message about integrity and truthfulness to oneself.

“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

I am poetically clear about my beliefs which are subject to change as I change and gain more insight. Simply put, I know nothing and everything.
